2025 MSP Week Poems/Articles Submission Campaign

MSP Week (November 2–8, 2025) is right around the corner, and this year's theme is "Proud to Be an MSP."

To celebrate, NAMSS invites you to share your voice! We're collecting original articles (300–500 words) or poems (12–40 lines) that highlight the pride, passion, and impact of being a Medical Services Professional. Selected submissions will be featured during MSP Week on the NAMSS website, in email communications, and on social media.

Need a little inspiration? Try reflecting on prompts like:

• What does being an MSP mean to you?
• A moment when you felt most proud to be an MSP.
• How MSPs make a difference in healthcare and patient safety.
• Complete the sentence: "I am proud to be an MSP because…"

Submission Guidelines:

Violets are blue

The world would be lost

Without Credentialing and Peer Review

From hundreds of emails,

To dozens of calls

The gatekeepers of patient safety

Can handle it all

Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers,

NPDB reports and COIs,

Require a lot more skill to process

Than you may realize

Inconsistent rounding and

Noncompliant documentation

Sometimes even teammate

And patient solicitation

This sounds like a lot

And only some of the issues we see

This would make a really great soap opera

Or reality tv

In summary, we're kind of a big deal

(So to speak)
