Our department is committed to achieving high reliability organization status and is actively seeking opportunities to enhance our credentialing and privileging procedures. Our top priority is ensuring patient safety. Therefore, we are dedicated to continually monitoring and improving our processes by measuring provider retention, the time it takes for initial and reappointments, and adherence to payer enrollment deadlines. Additionally, we have implemented a survey that will be issued to each provider upon completion of the credentialing process. This will assist us in gaining a better understanding of their potential reasons for departing our company, as well as identifying opportunities for enhancing our onboarding and credentialing procedures.
As a Medical Staff Services Assistant, I am incredibly proud to be a part of an organization that places patient care as its top priority. My role allows me to actively contribute to ensuring that the providers we bring on board meet our high standards, and I find great fulfillment in being a part of this process.
Here is my submission for MSP week 2023 Contest.
As a Medical Staff professional there are times our jobs can be so stressful. So we must remember to find times to laugh and have fun. Here i am with the Chief Nursing Officer, Hart Hintz, serving the physicians on Dr Day. Serving - this is what we as MSPs do daily by making sure we credential and privilege qualified providers who treat our community and our familes.
